Events will take place at Central Station in Montreal, QC; Union Station in Toronto, ON and at the VIA Rail station in Kingston, ON. Historical displays will be available to members of the public at all three locations.
In Kingston, a brief presentation will occur at approximately 2:10 p.m., to coincide with the meeting of the VIA trains from Toronto and Montreal--an event taking place almost 150 years to the minute after the arrival of the first two trains from those cities in Kingston.
For those interested in participating, a bus tour will travel to various sites in the Kingston area with a historical association to the Grand Trunk Railway. Participation in this tour is limited, so please contact the organizers at the email address below if you wish to have a place on the bus.
